Mexican Fiesta

I love new cultures… learning about them, experiencing them, and when I have the opportunity… teaching about them.

In the past I had a “Sushi Outreach” with the kids… teaching them how to make sushi and a little about the Japanese culture.  We had a blast and now I can confidently say that the kids LOVE sushi :)

This past week I decided to introduce the kids to a little bit of Mexico.  None of them had ever eaten tacos, or even knew what they were for that matter.  We ate tacos, made ‘mini sombreros’ listened to Mariachi Band music, and found Mexico on the map.

Besides having fun, it was great to see the kids embracing the new culture, loving the food, and enjoying our day :)

Hey!! What a great time you had with your kids! Introducing them to different cultures is a wonderful idea and I’m sure they enjoyed every moment of it. I pray that God continue to give you fresh ideas to introduce to the kids that HIS love is spread all over the world for everyone!
