Youth Center
When asked the question, “what do you do on the weekends, after school, or at night?, she replied to me, “nothing!”
And nothing is exactly what is available for these refugee children, living in South Tel Aviv. Their families barely have money for food and housing, let alone anything else. When I stumbled across the many children in this situation I knew what we had to do:
Start a youth center!
We are in the beginning stages of creating a youth center for the refugee children of Tel Aviv. Currently, we have rented a place in the South Tel Aviv area, and are preparing to open the doors soon. The vision to find a suitable and large enough place to hold both the youth center and extra rooms for volunteers and helpers is exactly what we have found. Please keep all the preparations in your prayers as this is a crucial step in the foundation of the center.
