Maureen has been serving on the field since 2000, after completing her B.A. in Education from Arizona State University.

She first served in Rio de Janerio, Brazil in various capacities during her five years in the country. She was a part of the original team to implement the International School of Rio, and taught there as well.  Along with teaching, she was also involved with various community projects, including starting an enrichment program for children living in extreme poverty within the favellas of Rio.

Maureen then spent two years in Botswana, Africa serving as the Outreach Director of Love Botswana Mission.  She was involved in all aspects of outreach and delegating short-term teams coming to Botswana.  Much of her time was spent in the bush of Africa, aiding various villages within Botswana and Namibia.

During her spent time in Africa, the Middle East, specifically Israel, was placed on Maureen’s heart.  She came to Israel in 2008, and since has developed Shine International.  Maureen is committed to take the vision of Shine to the streets of Tel Aviv, reaching to the ends of the earth.

Along with full-time ministry, Maureen is currently pursuing her Masters in Arabic Literature at Tel Aviv University. She is also studying Arabic and Hebrew, in order to fully assist those she is working with.
